Michigan Energy, Michigan Jobs is a statewide coalition focused on transitioning our state to 100% clean energy, leading to more good-paying jobs that don't require a college degree, cleaner air for the communities most impacted by pollution, and more affordable electricity for Michigan families. Climate Conference Press Event
Ahead of the Michigan Climate Conference in Detroit, MEMJ members from across the state hosted a press conference outlining our vision for a clean energy future that creates good-paying jobs, saves money, and protects the health of all Michiganders.
Clean Energy Day of Action
House and Senate lawmakers joined MEMJ members to send a message: transitioning to reliable, 100% clean, renewable energy is a top priority. In addition to the press conference, MEMJ members used this opportunity to meet with legislators on both sides of the aisle to discuss the urgency of transitioning to 100% clean energy by 2035.
Lansing EV Ride and Drive
Electric vehicles are already an important part of the Michigan economy, but have you had a chance to drive one yet?
Clean Fuels Michigan, the Michigan Conservative Energy Forum, and other MEMJ members hosted a Ride and Drive event outside of the Capitol Building to give legislators a chance to see the benefits of electric vehicles up close.
