  • According to the 2025 Clean Jobs Midwest report, Michigan’s clean energy economy supports more than 127,000 jobs across the state. Most of those jobs are in manufacturing and construction. Moving to clean, renewable energy will foster energy independence so Michiganders can buy Michigan energy, and we can stop exporting our money and our jobs to other states and countries.

  • Michigan has the highest electricity rates in the Midwest, which is why we need to embrace the cost-saving potential of renewable energy, energy efficiency, and electric vehicles. Renewable energy is now cheaper than coal and cost-competitive with natural gas due to advances in technology. Michigan ratepayers save more than $3 for every dollar invested in energy efficiency.

  • Yes! A recent poll found that 75% of Michigan voters support the 2023 clean energy laws. 66% of voters said they want more investments in solar, wind, and battery storage.
